Words In Semblance : an interactive literary exploration reading between the lines on the Newcastle Map


UON Writers Collective featuring  Creative Writing students Kait Fenwick, Claire Albrecht, Alison Kelly and Jodi Vial presented words in semblance .

The event ran in conjunction with the 2017 Student Art Prize

The event, in keeping with the Art Prize theme of “semblance” explored that notion within a literary context and from within the framework of the geological and psychological map of Newcastle. included live readings staged during the event as well as interactive exhibits and opportunities to connect with the notion of semblance as it relates to the spatial, personal and historical experience of living in Newcastle.
